Business Development Executive – 3‑Month Contract in Santa Cruz

About the role

We Are Outliers (WAO) is a digital and strategic communications agency expanding into Bolivia. They are looking for a driven Business Development Executive for a three‑month contract based in Santa Cruz de la Sierra.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach businesses in Santa Cruz and across Bolivia that need digital transformation such as custom apps, web platforms, automation, digital marketing and branding.
• Target high‑impact sectors including agriculture, retail, logistics, healthcare, finance, energy and mining.
• Book and attend meetings with the founder and conduct first‑contact conversations independently.
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospects and track every conversation.
• Represent WAO at industry and tech events and networking sessions.
• Provide market feedback on technology investments, pain points and opportunities.

Required profile

• At least two years of experience in B2B sales, business development or client‑facing roles, preferably selling technology, software, agency or consulting services.
• Comfortable explaining digital products to non‑technical business owners.
• Confident in cold outreach, both in person and by phone.
• Fluent Spanish and good working English.
• Based in Santa Cruz and able to meet in person regularly.
