About the role

SIAVES is looking for an Accounting Intern to join its finance team in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. The position is full‑time, temporary and provides hands‑on experience with daily accounting processes in a professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily accounting operations and prepare journal entries.
• File and organize supporting documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of basic financial reports and statements.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Review and verify data entered in the accounting software.
• Support administrative tasks related to the finance area.
• Update and maintain accounting databases.

Required profile

• Current studies in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Basic understanding of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash‑flow).
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Strong interest in learning accounting processes.
• Ability to work responsibly in a team and communicate clearly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced use of spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel).
