AI Engineer – Autonomous Agents (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev is seeking an AI Engineer specialized in autonomous agents to design and build multi‑step systems that can reason, plan, and execute complex business tasks with minimal human intervention. You will act as the architect of agentic workflows, ensuring models effectively use tools and collaborate to meet high‑level objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement multi‑agent coordination frameworks for long‑running, intricate workflows.
• Develop robust tool‑calling mechanisms and API integrations to extend autonomous agent capabilities.
• Orchestrate reasoning and planning logic using frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
• Optimize agent performance through observability, loop monitoring, and context‑rotation management.
• Implement rigorous evaluation and moderation guardrails to ensure reliability and safety.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate business goals into executable agent personas and task structures.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience focused on AI systems or agentic workflows.
• Proven expertise building multi‑step agentic systems with LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
• Deep understanding of transformer architectures and LLM capabilities such as tool calling and reasoning.
• Hands‑on experience with agent orchestration, multi‑agent coordination, and state management.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
