Virtual Assistant – Italian‑Speaking STR Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an Italian‑speaking Short‑Term Rental (STR) Specialist to support the daily operations of our international rental portfolio. The ideal candidate is fluent in both Italian and English, highly organized, and experienced in guest communication and property management.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with guests in Italian and English via Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, email and messaging platforms.
• Handle inquiries, booking requests, check‑in/check‑out questions and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate cleaning, maintenance and other property‑related services.
• Monitor reservations, calendars, availability and guest information.
• Assist with listing updates, pricing adjustments and property data.
• Ensure high guest satisfaction by responding quickly to concerns.
• Liaise with property owners, cleaners, maintenance vendors and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records and follow established STR operational procedures.
• Track reviews and feedback, escalating issues when necessary.

Required profile

• Fluent written and spoken Italian and English.
• Previous experience in short‑term rentals, property management, hospitality or guest services (preferred).
• Familiarity with Airbnb, Booking.com and VRBO platforms.
• Experience with PMS/channel‑management tools such as Guesty, Hostaway or Hostfully (a plus).
• Strong communication, organization and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends.
