Senior Data Engineer (Databricks + AI/ML)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in Databricks and AI/ML pipelines to join our talent network. You will work remotely with U.S. clients, integrating directly into their teams and collaborating daily with designers, engineers, data scientists, and ML engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms using Databricks, Delta Lake, and Spark.
• Support AI/ML workflows by preparing, transforming, and feature‑engineering data for model training and deployment.
• Build, optimize, and monitor ETL/ELT processes on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability through robust testing and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate data solutions into product features.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and take ownership of deliverables.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, and Spark.
• Experience supporting AI/ML pipelines, feature engineering, and MLOps.
• Strong SQL and data‑modeling skills.
• Proficiency in Python (or similar) for data processing.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Proven ability to work in fast‑paced, remote, Agile environments.
