Contador/a – Gestión Contable, Tributaria y Laboral

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Accountant to join our client, Ace Hardware Bolivia, in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. The professional will be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting, tax, and labor management, delivering reliable financial information and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly and annual closing processes, guaranteeing timely and correct recording of all transactions.
• Conduct account analysis, reconciliations, and balance composition.
• Oversee accounting and costing of imported goods.
• Control fixed assets, depreciation, amortization, and works in progress.
• Prepare and submit Purchase and Sales Registries (RCV) through the SIAT system.
• Prepare and file all required tax returns.
• Generate payroll, tax payroll, and related filings.
• Handle labor settlements and social benefits in accordance with current legislation.
• Support audits, inspections, and requests from public authorities.
• Ensure adherence to accounting, tax, and labor procedures and internal controls.
• Identify and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency and data reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of Bolivian accounting and tax regulations.
• Familiarity with the General Labor Law and related labor regulations.
• Experience preparing payroll, tax payroll, and labor settlements.
• Analytical mindset, organized, and deadline‑driven.
• High sense of responsibility and ability to handle confidential information.
• Capacity to work under pressure, especially during closing periods.
