Agentic Elixir Engineer - Remote - Latin America

About the role

We are looking for an Agentic Elixir Engineer to join our talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients on project‑based assignments. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver high‑quality Elixir applications.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate directly into client teams and contribute to the design and implementation of Elixir‑based services.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third‑party services.
• Work with PostgreSQL and other SQL databases to design efficient data models.
• Leverage AI coding assistants (e.g., OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, Gemini CLI) to accelerate development and review AI‑generated code for quality and performance.
• Implement code agents that automate routine engineering tasks.
• Set up and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate on large, complex systems.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience building applications with Elixir.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Proven ability to work 40 hours per week and take extreme ownership of deliverables.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum teams and large‑scale system design.
